Golden Rules for Cooking Italian Pasta

Posted in Recipe on 9 October 2017

The first and the most important: use the best quality pasta. It will really change the taste even of the simpliest dish.
The italians use the pasta made of hard wheat flour.

Check the cooking time and remember not to cook to long! The pasta al dente will always taste better than the overcooked one. However you should choose the pasta that requires a longer cooking time – check the indications on the package.

To reach the al dente effect end the cooking 30 sec – 1 min. before the indicated time. The al dente pasta has a lower glycemic index, so it is also better for your health!

The sauce or salsa for the paste should finish to cook before the pasta.

Use the coarse salt (according to italians) – it will lower the risk of over-salting your dish
