Pistachio Muffins With Chocolate Heart November 7, 2014 Yield: 6 muffins Ingredients:
  • 125 grams flour
  • 50 ml oil
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 50 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 6 squares of chocolate
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 tsp pistachio flour
  • 3 tsp coffee powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch baking soda
  1. Preheat oven to about 180 degrees.
  2. Prepare muffin cups or tins
  3. Take a bowl and add all the dry ingredients: sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together egg, milk, oil and yogurt. When smooth, add all the dry ingredients and combine well using a wooden spoon.
  5. To the mixture, add pistachio and coffee powder. Take a spoonful of the mixture and put into the prepared tins or cups. In the middle of each cup, put a square of chocolate. Bake the muffins for about 25 minutes or until they are cooked. Use a toothpick to ensure the muffins are cooked.
